The home-baked French toast paired wonderfully with a selection of exquisite jams. I particularly enjoyed the variety of French cheeses and cured meats, which felt like a small feast each morning. One notable aspect was the relaxed atmosphere; I felt as though I was sharing meals with friends rather than at a hotel. The dining room's cozy decor encouraged lingering over coffee, brewed fresh from the in-room coffee machine. For anyone seeking a quiet retreat with a culinary twist, I can't recommend the Chateau de Buchy enough.
